To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side power button and swipe up one time to get to the home screen

We do have a Vine icon loaded on the home screen, it's a green circle with a "V" inside of it

If Vine is not on the home screen, we can access it through the applications menu. The applications icon is a gray box with some white squares inside of it.

If we tap on "Apps" we will see all of the applications in our Apps menu

We can swipe both to the left and to the right until we've located the same icon for Vine. Tap it one time, either on the home screen or here in the Apps menu to open this application.

When we're first opening it, we can either sign up with email or log in with Twitter
.
If we already have an account, we can log in. We're going to sign up today with email by tapping the top green box that says "Sign up with Email".

Here it allows us to enter how our name should visible as well as tap on the plus sign to add a photo of ourselves

We can either "Choose Existing" or "Take Photo"
.
"Choose Existing" will allow us to select a photo that we already have in our gallery. We can tap that to open up all of the different albums that we have for our photos.

We can tap any photo and upload a profile photo

We can rearrange it by moving it up or down until we are happy with how our profile will look

When we're happy, we can choose "Save" on the bottom right-hand side.

Now we have a profile photo as well as our name so we can tap "NEXT" at the top right-hand side

This allows us to enter in an email and telephone number.

We're going to enter a new email address, a password, and a phone number as well
.
Once we've entered our information, we can choose "DONE" in the top right-hand side again. We will then need to enter the confirmation code that it's going to text to our phone number.

Once we've received the confirmation code, we can tap on "Confirmation code" to enter that code
.
Once we've entered the code, we choose "DONE" in the upper right-hand corner. It confirms the phone number and allows us to sign up to be able to view channels.

If we do not want to view one of these (since they are all selected), we can tap on a check mark and only sign up for the ones that we would like to view

This will send videos to our feed automatically. We can tap once on "NEXT" at the top right-hand side to continue.

This signs us up to follow those channels and asks if we would like to upload our phone contacts

We're going to select "No" right now, but we may want to do that later to help us connect with our friends.

If we want to deselect anyone that is found on our phone, we can tap the check marks and we will be able to deselect them

If we want to connect Twitter with our Twitter account, we can do that here

We're going to choose "DONE" at the top right-hand side since we don't have a Twitter account. Now, we have our Vine account and we can begin to use this application.

In order to close the application, we can press the bottom center button on our phone one time to return to our home page
