Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to create a table in Microsoft Word 2010 using hotkey commands.

Steps

    So the first thing we're going to do in order to create the table, is we need to press 'Shift', the 'Plus' sign, and 'Tab'
    .
    And I can make the table as big as I need if I keep pressing 'Tab' and 'Plus' to make the table.

    And then we'll press 'Enter'
    .
    As you can see, I've made a table.

    If I want to increase the size, create more rows, I'm going to use 'Tab' to move to the end
    .
    When I get to the end, I press 'Tab' again and I can create another row.

    If I want to delete a row, I'm going to press 'Shift' and use the directional buttons to highlight this row, then press 'Backspace'

    Here, it gives me options of what I would like to do
    .
    Select 'Delete the entire row' with the arrow key, and press 'Enter'. And as you can see, the row has been deleted.

    I can move back to the table with the directional buttons, and if I have other things I need to do I can just right click on the box I would like to work in

    Here is the 'Insert' button, if I would like to insert some cells or split the cells
    .
    I want to create two columns, so I'm going to click OK.

    So, here you can see I've split the cell into two boxes
    .
    And I can now add data to both sections using the arrow keys to scroll through.

    If I want to get out of this, I can move down and press 'Enter'
    .

    Now I'm going to show you some other things you can do
    .
    I can press 'Shift' and 'Plus' again, then press 'Tab'. And if I want bigger boxes, I just keep pressing 'Tab'.

    So I'm going to do two 'Tab' spaces
    .
    Press 'Plus', then press 'Tab' twice, press 'Plus', press 'Tab' twice, and so on. Then press 'Enter'. Now you can see I've made a bigger table with more space.

    Press 'Tab' to create more rows, and press 'Shift' and 'Tab' to scroll through the cells.
