Edited by Colette Cole, Crystal, Eng
Hi everybody and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to create a new presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint 2013.
Steps
- 1We'll see the landing page with a section on the left that shows us the most recent things that we've opened. We also have the option to open other Office presentations. On the right side of the screen, we can see the different templates available, or we can choose a blank presentation. We're just going to start a blank presentation by clicking on "Blank Presentation".The first thing that we want to do is open the application.

- 6We can also hit "Enter" on the keyboard. We're going to name it "Our First Presentation". It will then say the title at the top of the screen. From this point on, we can just save it when we make changes instead of saving it at the end. We wouldn't recommend finishing it then saving it because we may end up closing it instead and losing it.Name the document, then click "Save".
