Hello, and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, I will show you how to create a Microsoft Office Mobile account, on an LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we will unlock our phone by pressing the Power button one time
.
This bottom is located near the top, on the right-hand side of the device.
2
We will then press down on the screen, and swipe upwards
.
This will take us to our Home screen. Currently, we have the Office Mobile icon on our Home screen. This icon features a red square, with a white cube inside of it.
3
If we do not have Office Mobile on our Home screen, we can find the application in our Apps menu
.
We can open the Apps menu by pressing the icon in the bottom, right-hand corner one time. This icon features a gray box, with a grid of white squares inside of it. For today, we are going to open Office Mobile directly from the Home screen.
4
Once the Office Mobile application has been located, we are going to tap it one time
.
5
This will take us to an advertisement, which we can close by pressing the "X" in the top, right-hand corner of the screen
.
We will now be taken to the Home page, where we will need to "Sign in" or "Create an account".
6
If we would like to create a new account, we will tap the bottom option labeled "Create an account" one time
.
When the page has loaded, we will be told we can use any email address as our username. Including Outlook.com, Yahoo!, or Gmail. However, if we have already signed into a Windows PC, Tablet, Phone, Xbox Live, Outlook.com, or OneDrive, we should use that account to sign in.
7
We now need to go through and complete the presented form, which will ask us various information for our new account
.
We will be asked for our first and last name, account name, password, Country, postal code, birth date, gender, and for our telephone number.
8
Once we have entered in all of our information, we will need to enter in a set of characters to continue
.
We can enter the code by selecting the white text box, then using the keyboard to input the characters.
9
If we are unable to read the characters, we can tap "New" to generate a new code
.
This option is located to the left, directly above the current code. We can tap "New" many times until we receive a code that we can read.
10
Once the code is entered, we will tap "Go" one time
.
This option is located in the bottom, right-hand corner of the keyboard. After we have completed this process, we will be sent an email with a confirmation code. We now need to check our email, then enter the security code that we have received.
11
To check our email, we will press down at the top of the screen and swipe downwards
.
This will bring down our Notifications bar, where we can check for new emails. At the top, we can see we have received an email from "Microsoft account team".
12
We will now tap on the email notification one time to open it
.
This email will contain the security code we need to enter into Office Mobile. This code will be bolded, so it is easy to find.
13
We can now close our email, by pressing the Back button two times
.
This button is located in the bottom, left-hand corner, directly underneath of our screen.
14
From the Home screen, we will press and hold the Home button
.
This button is located in the center, directly underneath of our screen.
15
This will open up a list with all of our open applications, from here we will select "Office Mobile"
.
16
Now we can tap the "Enter code" text box, and enter the code we have previously viewed in our email
.
17
Once we have done this, we can press "Next" one time
.
This option is inside of a blue bar, directly underneath of the text box we have entered our confirmation code into. Now our Office Mobile account has been completely set up.
18
In order to exit the application and return to the Home screen, we can press the Home button one time
.
This is the bottom, center button. Located directly underneath of our screen.
19
This then concludes today's tutorial, on how to create a Microsoft Office Mobile account, on an LG L70
