Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to create a link post using the Tumblr application on the iPhone 6.

   To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

   Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

   As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

   Find the Tumblr icon, which is blue with a white "T" inside of it, and tap it once to open the application

   It will automatically take us to our news feed, which is kind of like the place where we will see different posts by the people we follow. It is indicated by the house icon located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

   Tap on the pencil icon located in a lighter blue rectangle at the bottom of the screen

   Since we're posting a link, we'll tap on "Link" which is indicated by a green icon

   This will change the format of the post for us to enter a link.

   Tap on the blank space that says "Type or paste a URL", which is the second option

   As we can see, it is finding our title and we can add a description as well. It should automatically take information from the link for us. We can type in whichever information we'd like to.

   Tap on the tag symbol located underneath the message body to add tags to the post

    Type in a tag

    As we are typing, it will load the tags automatically for us to tap on. We can choose from a selection of popular tags, for example, if we type in "Home", it will display tags like home decor or homemade. In this example, we'll tap on "#home".

    Tap on the gear icon in the top-right corner of the window to change the settings

    Tap on any option that we prefer

    The check mark on the right side will indicate what option is selected. We can change from publishing immediately, which is the default option, to something else like "Add to queue", "Save as draft", "Post privately", or "Schedule".
