To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top right-hand side, then swipe up

We do have Evernote on the home screen

It's a green box icon with an elephant inside of it. If we don't have it on the home screen, we can access it through the apps menu. The icon for the apps menu is in the bottom right-hand corner in this example. It is a grey box with a set of white squares inside of it and below the icon it says "Apps". This brings us to a grid of all of the apps we've downloaded.

We will open Evernote by tapping on the icon on the home screen

This will bring us to the Evernote home page.

Press the white plus sign in the green circle on the right-hand side to add a new note

We will have a list of options including camera, attachment, work chat, reminder, handwriting and text note.

Tap on "Handwriting"

This will create a new note.

We can tap on the pencil icon at the top to change the color

We will have four options.

Select the color

We'll use green by tapping on it. The circle will then be around the selected color.

We can also select the thickness of the marker by tapping on the desired thickness

It ranges from thin to medium to very thick.

We can write whatever we would like by moving our finger on the screen

Tap the back arrow in the top left-hand corner to see the note on a white page
