Create Your Own Facebook Event on iPhone 6

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video I'm going to show you how to create your own event on Facebook using the iPhone 6.


Steps

    To start with, unlock the phone using the fingerprint lock.

    Now go straight to the Facebook application. It looks like a blue square with a white lowercase letter "f" inside it.

    Tap the Facebook icon and we will be directed to the news feed.

    In order to create an event, we need to go to our main menu which is under the "More" option on the bottom menu bar on the right-hand side.

    Let's give it a tap. Tap on "More". We are on the menu of Facebook.

    If we look at the second section we will see that the second line of the second section reads "Events."

    That's where we need to go. "Events."

    In order to create one, tap on "Create" which is the top right-hand corner of the phone. "Create Event."

    First of all, we need to enter the event name in the first window. Tap on the window to summon the keyboard.

    Let's say, we'll make a "Rabbit party" for our children or our friends' children to play with rabbits, or we take pictures of them.

    The second window is to add "Details" about the event. What it's going to be about, who would like to join it, and so on. "This is an event for children and their parents who love rabbits." Short and informative description.

    Next, in the third field we need to add the "Location." Where is this event going to be? Tap on "Location."

    Scroll down to see if there is any place where we are going to be holding the event. These are Facebook suggested places but if we want to enter our own name we tap "Search" on the top grey bar.

    In this example we will type in "Vake park." The best place for rabbits. As we can see, Facebook has suggested Vake Park to us. It's not the first choice, but we will tap on it.

    The "Location" is set up.

    Tap on "Date & Time."

    It is already setup by default for today, for the nearest date and the nearest time.

    We can change it, make it Monday, June 8.

    To change the time we place our finger on the roll and scroll up or down and make it at 3:00 o'clock (15:00) on June 8, for example.

    To finish tap on "Done" in the top right-hand corner.

    Our event might be public or private. To change the privacy tap on the "PRIVATE" button under the "Create Event" option.

    There's a pop-up menu with "Private Event" or "Public Event." If we keep the event private then only people who have been invited will see the event and will be able to comment. If we make it public then anyone can see the event and anyone can attend it. Let's make it public. Tap and done.

    To save the event after we've typed in the description and the name of the event and location and date and time are setup we have to tap on "Done." The top right corner of the phone. It will take a second to load.
