Steps

    They have already existing palettes of eye shadows - like this one on top. This is a classic and one of the most popular palettes for wedding make-up.

    This one on the right is a nude makeup. In case we want to create our own and use just the colors that we want to use, we can buy the single separate eye shadow pieces like this one.

    Just insert them in this little cells.

    They also sell separate empty palettes for the eye shadows.

    If we want to prevent them from falling out, what we are going to do is use a glue stick and a lighter - which we can find in any hardware store.

    To start with, we would like to open these little eye shadows and take them out.

    From experience, these are one of the best eyeshadows that simply last all day long. They do not look big, but these will last forever. We can use these for years even if we are a professional makeup artist and use a lot of eye shadows.

    We chose the ones that we will be using for smokey eyes - the black one, the dark green, the dark blue navy color, purple, and the black color with some dark blue glitter. Let's move the eyeshadows to the side.

    Get the eye shadow palette box ready.

    What we need to do now is to light the glue stick. Hold the glue stick with one hand and hold the lighter with the other one. It might smell in some cases.

    Fire melts the glue stick, so just stick it in each little cell section. It might be a little messy. Just a couple drops of this little glue stick is probably enough.

    Before it gets cold, we just take one of the eye shadows, insert it and push it down.

    If one palette won't stick, it is okay, we can glue it again. As mentioned, we have to be very fast with sticking the eyeshadows in because this kind of glue dries really fast.

    Again, apply fire and melt the stick. Move fast and insert the eyeshadows in. Push just a bit to make sure it sticks in.

    When the eyeshadows are used, we can reuse this eye shadow holder. We just need to take a knife and pick the empty eyeshadow out, then replace them with new ones. We can use the glue stick again.
