How to assign an administrator after creating a new group? and how to delete the chat group if I no longer want it?

I created a trial chat group but do not know how to assign an administrator. After creating the group, now I wish to delete it but somehow somebody has become the administrator. I have tried: I tried the deleting process posted in the Web but since I somehow had assigned somebody else as the administrator, I am unable to.
