To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
.
As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

Find the settings icon, which is grey with a grey gear inside of it, and tap on it once to open the phone settings

Scroll down to the list of applications in alphabetical order, and tap on "Tumblr", which is probably near the bottom

Tap on the white button next to "Photos" to enable the option

The button will highlight with green to indicate that the option is enabled. We can tap it again to remove the green highlight and disable the option.

Tap on "OK" to give access to the camera

Tap on "Next" in the top-right corner of the screen

Now we will see our new post and what it will look like.

Tap on "Add a caption" underneath the photo to type in a caption

Scroll down more, and tap on the tags icon to add tags to the photo

When we start to type, it will search for popular tags using these words. We can tap on any of them to select them, and we can add as many as we like. In this example, we typed lemon and it recommended lemonade.

Scroll to the top, and tap on the gear shaped icon in the top-right corner of the screen

Select when we want the post to publish

The default option is "Post now", which is indicated by the check mark on the right-hand side. We can also choose "Add to queue", "Save as draft", "Post privately", or "Schedule". In this example, we'll choose "Post now".

Tap on "Post" located in the top-right corner to finish and post

Now, a small symbol in the notification bar at the top is indicating that it is going to our profile.
