Edited by Djinu, Alexander Avdeev, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show how to start a new project in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Steps
1
First of all, we launch Premiere Pro
.
In this video, it is set on the dock at the bottom. We click "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015".
2
If Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 is not on the dock, we press "Command" and the space bar
.
3
Then, we type "prem" to search for Premiere
.
4
Then, we simply click Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015
.
Once the program launches, it will open the last sequence or project file on which we were working.
5
We can choose to close the last project
.
We do that by clicking "File" and "Close Project".
6
7
We move the cursor to "New" and click "Project..."
8
We can create a name for the project
.
Let's call it "VisiHow demo new project".
9
We can click the "Display Format" in the "Video" drop-down menu
.
We can choose the display format as "Timecode" or "Frames". "Timecode" is easier for the editing process. Let's leave it at "Timecode".
10
We can click the "Display Format" in the "Audio" drop-down menu
.
The format can be set to samples or time in milliseconds. Let's leave it at "Audio Samples".
11
We click the second tab, "Scratch Disks"
.
We have the option of choosing which disk we will be using for our captured video and audio, video previews, audio previews, saved projects, and downloads. In this video, everything is kept on an external hard drive.
12
That was how to set up a new project in Adobe Premiere Pro. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thanks for watching VisiHow!
