    In order to create a new folder on the iPad, you'll need to have the tablet unlocked

    It should be on the home screen.

    Locate the first two icons that you would like to move into the same folder
    .
    In this case, let's swipe right and move some game icons with airplanes and spaceships.

    In order to move icons together, tap and hold an icon to unlock all of the icons

    They will start shaking.

    Now, drag the icon on top of another one

    Both icons will join together in a new folder.

    Release the icon

    Tap away from the folder to close it

    Drag other icons into the folder

    Note that when moving icons down, the entire line of icons will move around. Keep in mind that you cannot simply move icons wherever you like them on the screen. They will always automatically line up.

    You can drag the icon to another page within the folder by dragging it to the right

    You will have several pages within the same folder.

    When you've finished, press the home button to stop icons from being moved around

    You can scroll left and right within the folder
