Edited by Thor, Ash0hley, Jen M
Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to create, save, and resume a draft message on an HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone
Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.
To unlock the phone, press down on the screen
Hold down, and swipe up. Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.
It is here that we need to find the messages icon
It is located here. We can see a white speech box, with three green horizontal lines in the middle. Press down on this icon. It will open up our messages. We are going to learn how to create, save, and resume a draft message.
To start, let's press the icon that looks like a white plus sign
It is at the top right of the screen, in the blue bar. Press down on it. It will allow us to create a new message.
We are going to add some simple text
Ours says "Hi."
We are now going to exit the message because we didn't have time to finish it, and we want to create a draft
To do that, press the back arrow at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, twice.
It will say "Message saved as draft"
We have gone out of the message and saved it. Now we want to resume it.
Just go back into the message
Even if we go out of the messaging application, the draft will still be there. Here is our draft, at the top. This is the one we were working on. Press down on it. It will allow us to go back into the message, finish it, and send it.
This then, concludes our tutorial on how to create, save, and resume a draft message on an HTC One M8
