I would like to thank Heyyy_SAM for the awesome video on DIY Sharpie Crafts! I organized it into a wiki for anyone with a hearing impairment, or for those who just prefer to read the steps. Hope you enjoy it. :)
Hi, guys! Today we are going to show you a couple of DIYs with sharpies and we're going to start if off with glass arts. They kind of look like these ones when they are finished.
Glass Arts
- 1We got our pieces of glass out of little picture frames that we got at a dollar store. You can get your glass wherever you want.First, you want to take a picture of what you want to put in your glass.
- 2Let's put a picture of what we wanted underneath the glass.
- 3Then we trace it over with the sharpies and color it.
- 4Once you're done coloring the glass, you can remove the picture from underneath.
- 5Then make any adjustments that you need to.
- 6We chose to do Chicago Bulls.What you want on your glass is totally up to you.
- 7We also chose to do one with a song lyrics.
- 8After we finish them, we want to display them somewhere in the room.
- 9Take the two pieces of cardboard that came with the picture frame set.
- 10Then put some glue in the glass and stuck it onto the glass.
- 11We can also put some lines on the side of it to make it a little bit more pretty looking.
- 12Then we take some twine and we glue it to the back.
- 13We can also loop it through the cardboard after we punch a hole with it with a hole puncher.
Customize Your Own Makeup Bag
Next, we are going to be showing you how to customize your own makeup bag.
- 1We took a plain makeup bag that we got on a set.
- 2Then we just chose the colors that we wanted for it.
- 3We want to base it off on our pencil case because we thought that the design on it is pretty cool with all those squares, triangle, and whatnot.
- 4That's how it turned out and we loved it!
Design Your Own Phone Case
The next thing that we are going to do is a phone case. This phone case is only temporary because the Sharpie did kind of come off. If you guys know of a way of making the Sharpie stay on a bit longer then let us know. For now, this is just a kind of temporary thing because we did notice that the Sharpie is coming off a little bit.
- 1Basically, we just draw up the design on our phone case with our pencil first.
Design Your Own Jar
The last thing is trying on a jar. We love this idea because it's so cute and it's some easy way to spice up a little plain jar.
- 1So we got this little jar from the dollar store.
- 2Then we took the black sharpie and drew some designs on the sides of the jar.
- 3Let's go with any design.Then we just went with it.
- 4We drew a flower on top of it.
- 5We ended up storing some headphones with it.
