Steps

    In this video, we already have the document opened.

    Once we open or create a document, we check that we've selected the layer that we will be editing at the right-hand side. In this video, there is only one layer; but there might be more.

    We click "Filter" at the top.

    We move the cursor to "Render".

    We click "Clouds" across. This will add a pattern over the top of the layer.

    We can go back by pressing "Ctrl" and "Z". This is "step backward" or "undo". We'll be taken back to our original image. What the "Clouds" option does: it takes the general colors of the image and combines them into a cloud texture.

    If our image is not so dramatic as the one in the video, then we could hold down "Alt" (PC) or "Option" (Mac) button while selecting "Clouds". This would create a more dramatic effect.
