Create, Add, or Remove a Google Account on an Android Device

As an Android user, you need a working Google account to do pretty much anything. In fact, all Google's services (the Play Store, Gmail, etc. )require an active account. There are times when you may wish to create a new account, perhaps for work, school, or to use with specific services only. Whatever the reason, being able to create a new Google account quickly can prove handy in numerous instances.
In addition to creating a new Google account, there may come times when you want to add or remove an existing account from your Android-powered device. The good news is, Android makes adding and removing accounts pretty painless.
In the following VisiHow tutorial, we're going to walk through the steps for creating, adding, and removing a Google account with an Android device. For this guide, we used a Google Pixel running Android 8.1.0.
Create a New Google Account on Android
- 10Here on the How you'll sign in screen, enter your preferred email address. If the email you've entered is already taken, you'll see a message that says; "Username is taken".
- 13Here on the Choose what's right for you screen, you can select; No, don't add my phone number, Yes, I'm in, or Add my number for account security only. Once you've made your selection, tap "DONE".
