Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to create, edit and delete an album in the Photos application on an HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone
.
Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up
.
Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen
.
There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Photos icon
.
It is an icon of a shape made up of different colors, and underneath, it says the word "Photos". Your photos application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to create, edit and delete an album.

To do that, we need to tap on the plus sign at the top right-hand corner

This will open up the "Create new" menu.

Tap on "Album" and we will have the opportunity to select the photos that we want to add to this album

It will say "Select items" at the top.

Now all we have to do is press down on a photo to select it

We will see a blue circle with a white checkmark inside. Press down on all the photos to add to the album.

To deselect a photo, just press down on it again until the blue circle is gone
.
We have 3 photos selected, indicated by the number 3 in the top left-hand corner of the screen. To exit, we can press the 'x' next to that number.

Once we're happy with the number of photos selected, we can press down on the word "CREATE" in the top right-hand corner

It will then say "Preparing files"

Now we have the option to add a title, so type that in using the keypad
.
We're going to type in "Language" and press down on the return button which is the arrow with a corner.

It will say "Saving" at the bottom, followed by "Saved"

If we want, we can add more photos by tapping on the white plus sign in a box at the top right-hand corner of the screen

We can then add more photos by pressing down on it until we see the blue circle with the white checkmark, then tap "ADD" in the top right-hand corner of the screen

It will then say "One item added to album" at the bottom

To delete the album, press down on the 3 gray dots in a vertical line, in the right-hand corner of the screen

Tap "Delete album"

We can also edit the title by tapping on "Edit title". We're going to delete the album.

We will see a warning come up telling us that deleting an album is permanent and that photos and videos that were in a deleted album will remain part of our Photos library
.
So when we delete the album, we won't delete the photos. Press down on "DELETE" to delete it.

The album has been deleted and it has taken us back to the Photos application
