You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show how to calculate the length of a cell on a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. In column "B", we have a list of possible domain names. I want to know how many characters are there in each domain name with the premise being that shorter domain names are better.

    Click the "D2" cell

    Alternatively, you can click the "B2" cell instead of typing it.
