   As we can see, a video has been imported into Photoshop

   We select the layer that we want to convert into a smart object by clicking it

   Then, we right-click the layer

   We click "Convert to Smart Object"

   Photoshop will not double-check with us. The video will look completely different in the "Layer" tab and in the timeline. We have to bear in mind that when we convert a clip into a smart object, we lose the ability to do certain things such as changing the volume or the speed and things like that in the particular clip.
