Auto-updates allows your phone to automatically update applications whenever a new update on Play Store is available. This is a big help when you want to keep up with the new updates yet have no time to check on the latest new or on Play Store. Auto-updates feature is not all that good for some people too. Some updates cause some users to have a hard time using their device especially if the change is material enough to create confusion. If you are one of those who wants to have control over these updates, then this article is for you.

To disable auto-updates on Android phones

You can set Play Store to disable auto-updates on your Android phone. To disable auto-update of applications, follow these:

    Go to your Home Menu

    Press on the Home button once or the Back key for a few times until you will be taken to the Home screen.

    From the Home Menu, tap on the Apps icon located on the lower-right part of the favorites bar

To enable auto-updates on Android phones at all times

You can set Play Store to enable auto-updates on your Android phone at all times. These will update applications every time one is available regardless if you are on WiFi or network data. This option is recommended only if you have an unlimited data plan. If you want to enable auto-updates at all times, follow these:

To enable auto-updates on Android phones only over WiFi

You can set Play Store to enable auto-updates on your Android phone only when you are on WiFi. These will update applications only when your phone is on WiFi. If your phone switches to network data, auto-update won't work. If you want to enable auto-updates over WiFi, follow these:
