   Push the home button and slide to unlock

   Then we need to find an icon with grey gears on it, Settings. Tap that.

   The second line is WiFi

   Open that.

   It now gives me the choice of two WiFi Networks and one disappeared so I will choose the remaining one

   It will ask for a password so I will type it in

   After I type the password I can press Join in the bottom right corner of the phone, or I can press it in the top right corner.

   Now I have joined the network

   As you can see there is a check mark next to the name of the WiFi network.
