    To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing our Lock button on the side or our Home button at the bottom

    Swipe and we can enter our passcode or simply use our fingerprint scanner

    Find the MapMyRun app icon, which is this blue and white one here
    .
    Tap once to open it up. It should automatically take us to a screen, where it allows us to start recording a workout.

    We need to go to this top left-hand corner, where we have three horizontal lines
    .
    This will bring up a new menu.

    Go down until we can find "Connect Apps and Devices", which is indicated by a link on the left-hand side and tap on that

    Then what we can do is scroll through the apps that are in connection with MapMyRun and it will be able to synchronize which information from each app
    .
    For example, if we connect MyFitnessPal, then it will synchronize our nutrition, which might affect how many calories we should have or how many we're burning within the MapMyRun app. The same goes for the different apps which they specialize in. We also have more specific workout devices here, which are not applications, but things we can have. For example, to track our bike speed.

    We just tap through and sign in to the app or the device and then press Connect
    .

    We can go back by pressing the three horizontal white lines and then just press on "Record Workout", which is second from the top to get back to the screen where we started
