Configure the APN Settings on your iPhone 6

You are watching VisiHow, and today we are going to show you how to setup the APN Settings, to get internet on your iPhone 6.
Steps
- 1To start with, let's give a single press on the Lock button on the right-hand side of your phone.
- 2That is going to bring up your Lock Screen.
- 3Swipe across that Lock Screen, and enter in your PIN code.
- 4Or, just give it a little press at the bottom with your thumb, or any other finger you may have chosen to set up your phone Lock Screen with.
- 5Now you should be on the home screen of your phone.
- 6If you were already elsewhere on the phone, and you have just started out with this tutorial, simply press the home button one time.
- 7This will automatically take you back to the home screen.
- 8If you do not have it on your home screen, you may have it elsewhere, just swipe around until you find it.You should find your Settings icon, which is a gear shaped gray icon, it is actually a box with three gears inside of it.
- 9One press on that Settings icon is going to open up the Settings menu.
- 10It is a little picture of an Antenna within radio waves going out. Tap on Cellular one time.Look for the fourth option Cellular.
- 11Tap one time on the Cellular Data Network.This will open up the Cellular page, and you will be looking for the Cellular Data Network.
- 12You will be required to enter in APN, Username, Password.
- 13I am going to type internet.In my case, the APN for the Cellular Data Network that I am currently on is simply internet.
- 14Next, I am going to tap back on Cellular.
- 15Tap back again on Settings.
- 16Then we are going to press the home button one time.
- 17Now, we would be on the home screen.
- 18Now we are going to press and hold the Lock Screen button.
- 19That is going to bring up another window for us.
- 20Now we can slide, to turn the power OFF.
- 21When your phone shuts down, it will no longer be register with the current carrier because it will be OFF, there will be no signals and no connectivity.The mobile will be turned OFF, and our phone is going to shut down.
- 22After a minute, you are going to press the power button to turn your phone back ON.
- 23And your phone will begin to power back up, and when doing so, it is going to be sending signals back and forth to the Cellular Data Network, and it will be registering itself so that you will be able to access the internet and view web pages once your phone is turned ON.You will see the lovely little white Apple, with the bite taken out of it.
- 24our phone is now powered up.Let us give it a minute for the phone to finish powering up.
- 25Swipe across the Lock Screen.
- 26Press a finger into the fingerprint scan pad, to unlock the screen.
- 27We are now on the home screen.
- 28In order to test that our wireless is working properly, we are going to swipe up from the bottom, to open the Notifications panel.
- 29We are going to turn OFF our wireless network, WiFi is OFF.
- 30Swipe the notification panel back down.
- 31We are going to open a web page by tapping on Safari icon one time.Now that our WiFi is OFF, but we are still connected to GEOCELL, and we do have 3G access.
- 32Let's add a new web page, and go somewhere really cool.
- 33Now the web page is now opened.I think I will choose VisiHow website.
- 34Press the home button.
- 35This will get us back to our home screen.
- 36I do recommend that you swipe back from the bottom, turn your WiFi back ON, that way you will not be using data.
