You're watching VisiHow. In another tutorial, we demonstrated how to change the screen time-out on the Nexus 6P. In this tutorial, we're going to demonstrate how to change the automatic lock function on the Nexus 6P.
- 6Tap on an option. You can change the time of the automatic lock to the period of time between "Immediately" and "30 minutes". Let's say that you would like to keep a relatively short time-out, let us say, "30 seconds", to save your battery life; but you don't want to be bothered with unlocking your phone after it has been on relatively recently. Then, you can set the value to 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or even 30 minutes.
- 8Press the power button once more. The phone will turn back on without requiring the lock pattern because your pressing the button will have been within 5 minutes of the screen turning off.
This has been a video tutorial on how to change the auto-lock time-out on the Nexus 6P. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you for watching VisiHow!
