To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone
.
Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Viber application
.
There is a Viber icon, which is a purple speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says the word "Viber". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder.

We now need to tap the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen

There are three white horizontal lines.

Scroll down and tap on "Settings"

Tap on the third option, "Calls and messages"

Tap on "Clear message history"

When we tap on it, it will ask us for confirmation with a prompt that says "This will delete all of your Viber message history". Be warned, this will delete everything.

Tap on "Clear" in the confirmation window to clear all of the Viber message history

Go back to the messages by pressing the back arrow in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen 3 times
