Hi, you're watching VisiHow, and this is a tutorial on clearing the cache for your applications. In this tutorial, we'll be using a Huawei G700.
Steps
1
The first thing that you need to do is unlock your screen
.
To unlock the screen, you have to press the button on the right side of the phone.
2
Swipe down to unlock the phone
.
3
Once the screen is unlocked, you need to access the settings
.
There are several options to access it. One of them is the Settings icon that you can see on my home screen, but you may need to scroll around to find it on yours.
4
The second way is to swipe down on your screen and press the gear icon in the top right corner
.
5
Then, press the button that shows up to the left of the Settings icon
.
6
Once we're in the Settings menu, you need to go to the Apps
.
This is the App Manager.
7
Wait for it to load all the apps that you have installed
.
In this case, we'll be using the downloaded apps. Chrome, for example. This is a browser. You have to tap on it.
8
Now you're in the Chrome app info section
.
You have several options here. There's Force Stop, Uninstall Updates, Disable, Clear Data, Clear Cache and Launch. Now you press the Clear Cache button here, and the cache is now cleared.
9
You can also press the Clear Data button here, which will clear all the passwords and other data that you have stored in Chrome
.
10
I'm going to go ahead and press Cancel here
.
If you want to clear the data you can press OK.
11
Now you can press the home button and return to your home screen, from which you will be able to use any other apps or features of the phone
