Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to clear your browsing history using the Google application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode. As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Once at the home screen, find and tap on the Google icon which is blue with a recognizable Google "G". This will open the application to the home screen where we can search by tapping on the white bar or the microphone icon. To learn how to search using Google on iPhone 6, please refer to the article on how to do so.
Tap on the gear icon in the top-left corner to go to the settings menu.
Tap on "Privacy", which is the second from last section of the menu.
Tap on "Clear on-device history", which is the second option down.
Tap on "Cancel" to dismiss the option and go back.
Tap on "CLEAR ON-DEVICE HISTORY" to confirm the action and permanently delete the history. This will delete the history automatically and we will see that the option is now unavailable.
Tap on "Done" in the top-right corner.
Tap on the white bar in the middle of the screen to search. As we can see, we have nothing here recommending our previous searches.
Tap on "Cancel" in the top-right corner to go back to the screen where we started.
Now you know how to clear your browsing history using the Google application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments please enter them in the section below. Thank you for using VisiHow, goodbye.
