   To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

   As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

   Find and tap on the Spotify application, which is a black and green icon that has a green circle in the center with three curved black lines inside

   This will take us to our browse page where we can look through different moods and genres that Spotify has to offer.

   Tap on the three horizontal lines icon in the top-left corner to open a new menu

   Tap on the first option, which is "Search" and is indicated by a magnifying glass

   This will open the search page. In this example, it shows what we have searched for last time.

   Tap on the "x" on the right-hand side of the white bar to clear it

   In this example, we can see that we've searched for these things already and in a lot of cases we've only searched for one or two letters, and tap on the first thing that comes up. We can go through and click on any one we want to bring up a search we've already done, and scroll through their music as well.

   Scroll to the very bottom and tap on "Clear recent searches"

   This will automatically clear everything without asking us for confirmation.

   Type in anything to search for it

   In this example, we've started typing "nin" and have tapped on Nina Simone.

    Tap on the arrow in the top-left corner

    As we can see, on our searches we have "nin" because that's as much as we typed before Nina Simone appeared.

    As we see it automatically deletes.
