- 6For example, when I click the drop down menu to the right of "Obliterate the following items from:", I can choose "the past hour", "the past day", "the past week", "the last 4 weeks", and "the beginning of time". For this example, I will choose "the beginning of time". This means that it will delete all of the data since the installation of the program.In this window, select the duration of time you would like to delete the data from.
- 7In this example, I will delete the browsing history, download history, cookies and other site data, and empty the cache. I want to keep the saved passwords and the Autofill form data, so I will leave them unchecked. When you've selected what items to delete, click "Clear browsing data" at the bottom. Wait for it t finish. Depending on the amount of data, it may take seconds, minutes, or maybe even hours.Now, choose which data you would like to delete.
