I saw my information that I searched on my Macbook on my new Xperia just now. I don't understand how that happened?

If you're logged into Google Chrome on both your Macbook and your Xperia, the websites you visit, searches you make, and passwords you enter in either will sync up and you can access the information on both.

The thing is that IT personnel can recover your browsing history even if you delete it locally. Deleting browsing locally history depends upon the browser used. In Waterfox, for example, click the hot-dog menu, then "Options", then "Privacy", and then "clear your recent history" and "remove individual cookies". For other browsers, it is similar: look for clearing recent browsing history and cookies. Then, you may want to flush your list of resolved DNS addresses. Press the Windows key and type "cmd". Press "Enter". Type "ipconfig /flushdns". Still, someone can recover your deleted temporary files or cookies or find your browsing history from a gateway or router. It all depends upon the skill of the person who wants to recover your deleted data.
