Start by opening the Mozilla Firefox browser by double-clicking on the icon

Once the browser opens, open the menu by clicking the menu button in the upper-right corner

In this menu, click "History"

There are several options; "View History Sidebar", "Clear Recent History", or "Restore Previous Session". You can also click on any pages in your history to open them.

Click it once and a window will open.

In this window, it is possible to change the time range by clicking on the drop-down menu

For example, it is currently set to "Everything", which means it will delete everything in the history of Mozilla Firefox. The other options are "Last Hour", "Last Two Hours", "Last Four Hours" and "Today".

The next section is the details; check the boxes to delete browsing & download history, cookies, cache, active logins, offline website data, and site preferences

Uncheck them to keep that data. Click "Clear Now" when you are ready. Wait for it to finish.

The history was deleted very fast because there is not a lot of history in Firefox on this computer

In your case, it may be different depending on the number of entries it has to delete. It could take several seconds or minutes.
