Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to clear the browsing history in Microsoft Edge in Windows 10.
The first thing we need to do is open Microsoft Edge. In this case, it's on the taskbar; so, we click the taskbar icon. We will need to wait for Microsoft Edge to load.
When Microsoft Edge loads, we need to click the "Hub" icon. The icon has three lines, and it is in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Now, we need to click the "History" icon. The icon has the clock and the refresh symbol.
In "HISTORY", to delete the history, we need to click "Clear all history".
Now, we need to check or uncheck the types of the history that we want to delete. In this case, we'll delete
- "Browsing history";
- "Cookies and saved website data";
- "Cached data and files".
We can also check
- "Download history";
- "Form data";
We can check
- "Media licenses";
- "Pop-up exceptions";
- "Location permissions";
- "Full screen permissions";
- "Compatibility permissions".
Once we have set up everything in this menu, we need to click "Clear". We will need to wait for the procedure to finish. Depending on the size of the content, it may take several seconds or minutes.
