Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to choose which applications should use the microphone on Windows 10 computers.
The first thing that we need to do is click the lower-left corner of the screen to open the start menu.
Then, we need to click "Settings".
Now, we need to scroll down and click "Privacy".
When we've clicked "Privacy", we need to click "Microphone" on the left side of the window.
If we have already enabled the microphone, we can scroll down to choose the specific applications that can or cannot use the microphone.
For example, if we want Xbox to use the microphone, we need to leave its toggle on "On". Otherwise, if it is turned off, we need to click its toggle to turn the microphone usage on.
For example, if we do not want Windows Voice Recorder to use the microphone, we need simply to click its "On" toggle. This will turn the microphone usage off.
We set the options according to our preference, and then we can close the window.
This concludes our tutorial on how to choose which applications should use the microphone on Windows 10 computers. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
