- 10At the bottom of the screen, there is a "Hardware Model" number. In this case, it's "N66AP". What that means is that this phone has the Samsung chip. There are two different types of chip manufacturers. The Samsung chip has, reportedly, a little shorter battery life. If you are using the iPhone 6s, "Hardware Model" will read "N71AP". The other slightly better chip, which is the TSMC processor, would read "N71MAP" on the iPhone 6s and "N66MAP" on the iPhone 6s Plus. Then, tap on "General".
That was how to tell what hardware chip is installed in your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you for watching VisiHow!
