To start with, press the button on the right-hand side of your phone to unlock it

This will open up the lock screen.

You'll need to swipe across the lock screen, or put in your pin code, password or another method of unlocking your phone

Once that's done, you're going to go down to your applications folder, or on your home screen if you have the icon there for Candy Crush

In my case, it's in the applications folder. One tap and you can see I've got Candy Crush right here on my screen.

Let's press the Home button, which is this button right down here at the bottom.

Once you're home, you'll notice that I have a little Candy Crush icon at the top in my notifications area

Swipe down to see what that is.

When we've swipe down, we can see that the Candy Crush Saga has told me that I now have four lives
.
This means that I can start playing with extra lives. This is great if you're trying to figure out when to come back to play with more lives, rather than playing with one life at a time. It's a good notification feature and one that automatically happens with the Candy Crush Saga game.

So I'm going to tap on the Candy Crush Saga from my notifications panel, which is going to launch the game

It'll open up the King software loading screen. It's going to take a minute to load, so just bear with me while we load it.

The first trick I'm going to show you is reshuffling your candies without losing any lives
.
This is important because sometimes you start off and you look at the arrangement of candies, and it looks just bad. And you wish you can reshuffle it without losing a life. Well I'm going to show you how.

And now you can see my candies have reshuffled

This will let you reshuffle your candies as many times as you like until you get a setup that has a great set of patterns, and at the same time you can keep all of your lives.

The next tip I'm going to tell you about is for Facebook users
.
Basically what you do is you go to Facebook and you open up a new tab. In each tab that you open up, you'll have your full set of five lives. So you can play your five lives, then go to the next tab and play through them again, and so on. If you want to, you can open up twenty, fifty or even a hundred tabs - in which case you have five hundred lives. And you can continue to play through those until you've beaten or mastered the level you're on.

Now let's discuss another trick
.
Let me show you the different types of candies you can get in the Candy Crush Saga game. The best one you can get is the chocolate sprinkle. The sprinkle candy only comes when you match five of the same type of candies together in a row. For example, if you see these red candies over here - if I just swipe this to the right, that's going to match up five of those candies and I'll immediately get a chocolate sprinkle candy. Let's do that.

Now the next thing that happens is if I take the chocolate sprinkle candy and move it into the green candies, the blue candies or any of the other candies around, it'll immediately destroy all of the same color candies on the board
.
However, the are some better things you can do than just that. That's kind of the simple way, and it's not the most effective thing you can do with your candies. First of all, there are other types of candies you can get.

If you can match this chocolate sprinkle candy with a striped candy, then it will turn all of that same color candy into striped candy all across the board
.

On top of that, if you match this chocolate sprinkle candy with one of the bomb candies (the candies in the wrappers), it will create a huge explosion that will blow up almost half of the board
.
So there are a number of things you can do.

If you manage to get two chocolate sprinkle candies and they're right next to each other, and you can match them together, then that will blow up pretty much everything on the whole board

Whenever you swipe a candy and create a row of four or more, it creates a horizontal or vertical stretched candy
.
If you swipe horizontally, then it will create a horizontal stretched candy. If you swipe vertically, it will create a vertical stretched candy.

So right here, I'll just move this candy to the right and I'm going to get two rows of candies, which will give me a very powerful combo

Let me show you. Move it to the right, and now I've got two candies together. Normally, just one of these candies would blow up all the candies in a horizontal or vertical pattern.

Now if I match those two candies together, where one is horizontal and the other is vertical, it'll blow all the candies up and all the candies across

At the moment nothing happens because they're not different stripes. Now I've got two horizontal candies here and a horizontal candy at the top. So what I'm going to do now is try and find a way for me to get another set of candies that will enable me to further increase that pattern.

Now let's talk about some of the more advanced combos than that

Let's see if I can set one up for you. OK, what I'm about to do is create what's known as a bomb candy. I'm going to move this purple candy up and it's going to a row of three across and three horizontally, and that gives me a bomb candy. You can always spot bomb candies because they're in wrappers.

Now, in order to use this bomb candy, I've got to match up patterns of the same color
.
And when I do that, you see it creates a huge explosion that blows up everything on the board.

Another one that we're going to try and get is the chocolate sprinkle candy, which we discussed earlier

Here's another example of a bomb candy here
.
Let's move the blue one down, and that just makes two sets of bombs. So you saw when I matched the bomb candy with a striped candy, it makes a huge explosion. When I match it just with another set of the same color, it makes a much smaller explosion and then a secondary explosion. So what you want to do is always try to match that with a striped candy for maximum damage.

So here we have a bomb candy, and now we have a striped candy.

All I'm going to do is move this one purple candy sitting out, and create a row of five

There's two great things about this. One, every time you do this you get 5 seconds on your time travel. Second, when I put these together, that's going to give me this chocolate sprinkle candy.

Now, all I have to do is move that chocolate sprinkle candy on a color candy
.
And when I do that, that will blow up all of the candies of that color everywhere on the board. Let me show you how that works with this green candy here. Let's move over the green candy, and now all the green candies get blown up just like that. So that is how you use the chocolate sprinkle candy to destroy everything on the board.

You can also move the vertical or horizontal striped candy into a matching set of colours and it will blow up in a vertical or horizontal row

If you mix horizontal and vertical candies together, then it will blow up candies in a cross pattern. Let's move this over here and I'll show you what I'm talking about. You see that? It blew up everything!
