Pokemon Light Platinum Cheats for GBA Emulator
- 1Open the VisualBoyAdvance.
- 2Start the Pokemon Light Platinum game emulator.
- 3Go to a Pokemon Center (to access the PC - can be done from anywhere).
- 4On your VisualBoyAdvance, go to the "Cheats" menu and then "Cheat list."
- 5Click "Gameshark."
- 6Enter any of the following codes, one at a time.

How to Level up Fast in Pokemon Light Platinum

The best way to level up in Pokemon Light Platinum, aside from using the Rare Candy cheat, is to keep battling wild Pokemon or fighting trainers along the routes.
- 1Keep in mind that they will automatically confront you for battle any time they have a direct line of sight to your character. While this isn't a problem at the lower levels, the further you progress through the game, the stronger these trainers will be. Of course, the rewards for defeating them will also increase with their level, so it's a good idea to fight them when you're ready, rather than waiting.Trainers can be found along every route.

Pokemon Light Platinum Glitches and Bugs
- Movable crates in the game will not block random trainers from seeing you. In other words, if you're trying to avoid fighting another trainer by hiding behind a crate, think again. Trainers on any of the routes will walk right through crates and fight you.
- In Team Steam's Headquarters, in the room where you encounter Leader Kratos and Leader Percy, you should see a pot with a small tree on it. Going up to it or on it and pressing the "Action" button will let you find another Master Ball. You can then leave the room and come back to repeat the process, getting as many Master Balls from this glitch as you like.

Usually, if you're getting question marks appearing in the game, it means that you've entered a cheat code into your GBA Emulator incorrectly. This is easy to do. In fact, almost everyone does it at least once.
To make sure you're entering the cheat codes into your GBA Emulator properly, enter the codes one at a time, without any other characters - just the numbers and letters. Sometimes it takes a little practice, but if you look at the screenshots in the beginning of this guide, you'll see how they can help you.

I can't get these cheat codes to work on my iPhone, help! The iOS port is a GBA / Game Boy Advance port, so you are just emulating it. Keep in mind that most GameShark cheat codes may vary per title. Make sure you have the correct Pokemon title, Pokemon Light Platinum, as there are many different versions of the game for the Gameboy. You need the right version for the codes to work.
If you're seeing question marks in the game after trying to input cheat codes, then you might have put a space or a wrong character in the list. Check for errors and try again.

My cheat code is invalid. What do I do now?
If you are typing the cheat codes, make sure that you type them in the same way they appear here. Keep in mind that some are also case sensitive, so it is always possible that someone put in lower case letters for a cheat code when that cheat should have been in upper case letters. Also, double check your letters and numbers. Sometimes the letter B can look like the number 8, or vice versa. The same is true for the number 1 and the letter L when it is lowercase.
Other times, there are a few cheat codes that require a space between them, but some do not need a space. This is confusing, but if you find a problem with a specific code, let us know here, and we'll try to fix it. All codes here are checked and typed the way they were found to work.
Another possibility is that you are typing in a Pokemon cheat code that isn't meant for the version of the game that you are playing. Make sure that you have the correct cheat codes for the game you are emulating on your computer or phone. Remember that there are a lot of Pokemon versions, not just Pokemon Light Platinum, and also make sure you put the Master Code in before entering the other cheat codes into the cheat box.
