   There are a number of ways that can help you in improving your battery life. If you think that no matter how much you charge or how many times you charge your phone, you still face battery issues, then these steps would help you in improving your battery life. Just follow and enjoy:  

   1. Install power saving apps: You can install different apps that can help you in improving your battery life. For this, you can install Easy Battery Saver or Battery Life Saver, or any other app that you feel like worth it.
   2. Check your applications: Just see which application consumes the most battery. You can do this by going into Settings > About Phone > Battery Use. You'll see all the details here. If you feel like there is an app that is consuming most of your battery, but you only use it rarely, then the wisest decision would be to get rid of that app ASAP.
   3. Go low on the brightness: This will help you a lot. You have no idea how much battery your phone consumes when you have selected full brightness. Keep it low and you'll experience tons of improvement.

Showing charging but not charging?

I have changed using many cables and chargers and I have also cleaned charger port with toothpick and toothbrush, all failed. After fully discharge battery, when connected charger a single line and vibrating after two second. Please help me, I shall be very thankful to you.

Is there a simple way to tell if my battery is bad or the phone? I plug my charger to the phone but the icon just stays green at the bottom and 0% showing?

I don't want to purchase a new battery if my phone is the issue.

The most simple way is to look at the battery and see if it is flat (it should be levelled and flat), place your battery into another phone (in a store, for example), or just carry your phone to a Samsung service center to see if they can quickly test it.

The less common way is either using different USB chargers and USB ports and outlets, using a voltmeter to check the remaining battery charge, or charging a battery with a Spare Battery Charger and seeing if it works.
