   Use a Samsung-approved micro-USB cable and take the small end of the USB cable

   Make sure that the two prongs on the plug are facing down

   On the Samsung Note, locate the home button

   Right below the home button, you will find the jack where you will insert the micro-USB end of the cable.

   Push the cable into the device until you hear a click

   You will also hear a sound when the cable is inserted properly. In the top right-hand corner, you will find that the battery is currently charging. In this video, it is currently at 70%. You want to charge your battery all the way to 100% to avoid battery damage.

   Once your battery is fully charged, simply remove the micro-USB end of the cable from the device
