Change the Size of Desktop Icons in Windows 7
Edited by Lukward Thomason, Ash0hley, Jen M
Hi. You're watching VisiHow, and this is a tutorial on how to change the size of the icons on your Windows 7 desktop. You can see that I have three icons on my desktop in each corner. They are the small sized icons now, but you can change the size of them.
Start out by right clicking on an empty space, on the desktop. The new dialogue window will load there.
In this window, we're looking for "View". Highlight it by hovering the mouse cursor over it.
In the next section, we will see "Large Icons", "Medium Icons", and "Small Icons".
In this case, we have selected "Small Icons", but let's change the size by selecting "Medium Icons".
The icon size has changed.
The same goes for "Large Icons".
We can make them larger or smaller than preset small icons. We need to press and hold the 'Ctrl' key on the keyboard.
Scroll up to make the icons bigger.
Scroll down to make the icons smaller. Depending on the capabilities of the video card, we can set the maximum or minimum size of the icons according to our preferences.
This concludes the tutorial on how to change the size of icons on Windows 7. Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
