You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to change the lock-screen security type to "Swipe" on the Lenovo A7000-series phone.
In order to change the lock-screen security type, we need to tap the Settings icon. We'll access the "Settings" panel.
Alternatively, we swipe down from the top of the phone.
We swipe down from the top again. We will be able to access the "Settings" panel.
To access the "Settings" panel, we tap the gear-shaped icon.
Once we've tapped the gear-shaped icon, we tap the "Lock screen" icon all the way at the bottom. The icon is green and has a padlock inside. It reads, "Lock screen".
Once we've tapped "Lock screen", we are going to tap the first option, "Screen lock". It is in the "SCREEN SECURITY" section.
We tap the "Swipe" option. This will enable swiping as our screen lock.
To test the setting, we press the power or lock button one time. Pressing the lock button will lock the phone.
We press the power button once more. We will unlock the phone. When we unlock the phone, we will see that we have a lock at the bottom.
We simply tap the lock and swipe it up. Swiping will unlock our phone.
