To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side power button and swiping up one time to get to the home screen

From the home screen, we need to access our applications menu
.
We can do that by locating the applications icon on the bottom right-hand side of the home screen. It's a gray box with some white squares inside of it labeled "Apps". Tap on that icon one time to open up all of the viewable apps. In this case, the apps are viewed in alphabetical order, but there is another way to see them. We can get there by pressing the bottom part of the phone.

Tap on the icon to the right side of the home button with three lines

After tapping the button, a pop-up menu appears with options. We can show smaller icons, change the wallpaper, hide or show apps, or view them in a certain order.

If we select "View apps by", we will see that "Alphabetical order" is currently selected

We can also view apps by the date we downloaded them.

Select the icon again by pressing on the icon on the right-hand side of the Home button

We can then choose to show small icons

If we have not pressed this before, it will show us an introduction.

Press "Yes" when the confirmation appears

It says, "You can see more icons on a screen by having small icons. Continue?" Now we have smaller icons and many more icons can be viewed on the screen as opposed to when we are looking at larger icons.

Press on the list icon one more time

We can then go back to select "Show large icons" if we'd like to go back to viewing icons at a larger size

It now says, "You can see larger icons on a screen

Continue?", and we need to select "Yes". The icons are now the size they originally were.

Select the list icon next to the home button again

We can then change the "Apps wallpaper" by selecting it from a list

There are four options for us right now and a fifth option on the other screen.

We can then select whichever one we'd like to change it

We're going to press "Apply" once we have found one that we are happy with
