Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to change the font size of the text on an HTC One M8.

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards. Once the screen has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and at the bottom there will be icons.

What we need to do now is to find the "Settings" menu

To do that we need to swipe the Notification panel down. To do that, press down at the top of the screen and swipe downwards. The notification panel will appear.

In the top right-hand corner of the screen, we can see that there is a white cog icon. This is our settings icon. Press down on it, and it will open up our "Settings" menu.

Now let's scroll down until we get to the "PERSONAL" section

We can see that it says the word, "PERSONAL" here in the gray bar.

In this section, we are looking for the option that says the word, "Accessibility"

Next to this word is an icon of a hand. Press down on this option and it will open up our "Accessibility" options on our menu.

The option we want is "Font size" in the "DISPLAY" section

Now we can see that it says underneath, "Medium". This is the current option that's selected.

Press down on this section and it will open up our options
.
We can see have all these different types of font sizes and these are very useful for people with different eyesight. If we're far-sighted or short-sighted, we may need larger or smaller text when we're looking closely at a device or when we're looking closely at words. Choose the option that is right for you, by pressing down on the option.

We can add "Huge" here, by pressing down on it

A window will appear that says, "Huge font sizes available only for HTC apps. All other apps will display Extra large font sizes instead."

If we want to change the font size again just press down on the option

Let's choose small this time. Press down on small and now we can see that the font size is a lot smaller.

Choose the option that's right for us and when we're happy, proceed

We're going to bring that back to medium and we're happy with that. Now it says "Medium" underneath "Font size" to indicate the option that we have selected.
