Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to change the Home screen wallpaper of an HTC One M8.

To begin, let's turn the phone on
.
We can do this by pressing the Power button located on the top, right hand corner of the device.

We will then unlock the device
.
When we activated the phone, we were brought to the Lock screen. From here we will press down on the screen, hold, and swipe upwards. Two white padlock icons will appear when the screen it pressed, indicating we can now swipe upwards.

Press down on the screen and hold
.
The panel we are on is not important. We just need to be somewhere on the Home screen where the wallpaper can be seen.

A menu will now be opened, we need to tap on the first option

It will be labeled as 'Change Home screen wallpaper', underneath of the word 'Personalize'. The entire menu will be blue, with the text written in white.

We will now be brought to another menu, labeled as 'Select wallpaper from'
.

For the first example, we will tap on the word 'HTC wallpapers'
.
This is the first item on the list. By tapping it, we will open a list of wallpapers provided by HTC.

We will now press down on the image we want to be our wallpaper
.
Pressing down on the image will give us a preview of what it will look like on our Home screen.

Tap the word 'Apply' to apply the selected image to the Home screen

The word 'Apply' will be written in white, it is located at the center bottom of the screen.

To change this wallpaper another time, we can press down and hold from the Home screen

This will bring up the blue, 'Personalize' menu once again.

Press down on the option 'Change Home screen wallpaper'
.
This item is located at the top of the list, written in white.

Press down on one of the options labeled 'Photos' or 'Gallery' to choose from our personal photos

The photos in these categories will have been taken from the Camera application, or downloaded by us.

Press down on the image you would like to use, then tap 'Apply'

Apply will be located in the bottom center of the image preview, written in white.

In this video we will not use a personal photo, and instead tap the Back arrow to return to the Home screen

This Back arrow is white in color, and is located in the bottom, left hand corner of the screen.

Press down on the Home screen once again, this will bring up the 'Personalize' menu
.
This menu is all blue, and features the word 'Personalize' at the top, written in white.

Press 'Change Home screen wallpaper' once again to bring up the 'Select wallpaper from' menu

This menu is white with a blue bar at the top, featuring the word 'Select wallpaper from' in white.

We will now tap the word 'Live wallpapers'
.
These options will move on the screen, some will be interactive. We also have the option to choose 'Themes', however, we have to be signed in to use these wallpapers and this will not be shown during the video. If you are signed in and would like to browse the 'Themes' for the HTC One M8, tap the 'Themes' option instead.

For example purposes, let's select the 'Bubbles' wallpaper
.
The 'Preview' will show us how the wallpaper will move, before applying it to the Home screen.
