Edited by Hotelier, nitid, Eng
Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today I will show you how to change and reorder icons in the dock section, the bottom of the home screen, on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, right-hand side
.
2
Then swipe up once to get to the home screen
.
3
There is a very thin, faint grey line at the bottom of the home screen
.
There are four icons below the line. The four icons in this example are "Messaging," "Phone," "Apps," and "Shazam."
4
Swipe through our home screens to see that those four icons will not change
.
It is the docking area.
5
Press and hold an icon until it lifts then move it for it to change places with another icon
.
This is to reorder the icons.
6
Next, press and hold the icon to lift it and drag it up to "Remove" at the top of the screen
.
7
The word "Remove" becomes a red highlighted trash can icon meaning the icon can be released into the trash
.
That icon has been removed from the dock area and the home screen.
8
We can see that there are now three icons across the dock area
.
To add an icon to the dock area it must be located on one of the home screens.
9
Press and hold the icon on the home screen to lift it, then drag it down to the docking area
.
10
We can see, once again, four icons are in the dock area on each screen
.
11
This concludes today's tutorial on how to change and reorder icons in the dock section, at the bottom of the home screen, on the LG L70
.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please leave them in the space below.
