To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen

Swipe to the right to enter your passcode

As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

Find and tap on the Pinterest application, which has a red and white icon with a white "P" inside of a red circle

This will take us to the main dashboard.

Scroll to the bottom, and tap on the head and shoulders icon on the right side

Tap where the profile picture area is

Tap on "Profile Picture" at the top, which also shows a small icon of the profile picture

This will give us the options to take a photo, choose and existing photo or cancel.

To make sure we have access to our photos or camera, we will tap on the home button

Find our settings icon, which is gray with a dark gray gear inside of it

Scroll down to the bottom and find the apps section (which is in alphabetical order), and tap on "Pinterest", indicated by the white "P" inside a red circle

This will show us what our Pinterest app has access to.

Tap on "Photos" to enable access to photos in Pinterest

Make sure the button is highlighted green to indicate that the option is enabled. If it is disabled, it will be white.

We can zoom in on the photo to choose what area we would like to select as our profile picture, which is indicated by the highlighted square.
