If you don't have a Facebook icon on your home screen, you can access it through your "Apps" menu.

In this video, we open Facebook directly from the home screen by tapping on the blue box icon with the white letter "f"
.
There will be five gray icons at the top of the news feed.
3
Tap on the icon to the far-right side that looks like three lines
.
Tapping the icon with the gray lines brings us to our account options.

You need to scroll down through the list of options until you find "Account Settings"
.

Tap one time on "Account Settings"
.
6
Then, tap again on "Timeline and Tagging"
.

Tap the top question, which is "Who can post on your timeline?"
.
Right now, it is set to "Only Me", which restricts your friends from being able to post anything on your timeline.
8
Allow your friends to post on your timeline by tapping "Friends"
.
You will notice that the blue checkmark will move next to the choice you tap.
9
You can exit this screen by pressing the back button in the bottom-right corner of the phone
.

You can change the "Who can post on your timeline?" setting at any time by returning to the "Timeline and Tagging" window and repeating the process
