You're watching VisiHow. We'll show you how to set a photo from Gallery as your WhatsApp chat wallpaper on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.
Begin by opening WhatsApp. You may have the icon on our home screen. The icon is a green chat bubble with a white telephone inside of it.
You can also access WhatsApp through the "Apps" menu. In this video, WhatsApp is tapped from the home screen.
From the chat screen, tap on the three bullet points in the upper-right corner.
Then, tap on "Settings". It is the last option.
Find and tap "Chat settings".
Locate and tap "Wallpaper".
To use a photo from Gallery, tap on "Android System".
Then tap on Gallery. It is the blue-and-yellow icon in the middle.
You can tap on "Just once" or "Always". "Just once" is used in case you would like to use another application next time.
Tap on the photo album you'd like to use.
Now, adjust how it will appear as the background. Do this by tapping and dragging the frame to the right or left. You can also resize it by tapping and dragging the corners.
When you've finished, tap on "OK". A message appears that the wallpaper has been set.
You can confirm this by tapping on any chat.
You can now go back by pressing the back arrow twice. The back arrow is at the top left-hand corner of the screen.
Now, you can close WhatsApp by pressing the bottom-center home button. You will return to the home screen.
This concludes the tutorial on how to set a photo from your own photo gallery as your WhatsApp chat wallpaper on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below.
