Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to change your status to invisible or available on Skype on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, unlock the phone

   .

   We can do that by pressing down on the power button located on top of the phone. We'll then need to swipe the lock screen up, and that will take us to the home screen.

   On the home screen, we need to tap the icon at the bottom of the phone, in the middle

   There is a grid made up of white dots. This will open up the applications folder.

   In this folder, we need to find and tap the Skype application

   There is a Skype icon, which is a white "S" on top of a blue cloud, and underneath it says "Skype".

   We now need to use the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   It's a circle with our profile photo in it. There is currently a small green circle inside of it with a white check mark, which indicates that we're currently available. People can see that we're online and available. When we tap on it, we'll see "Available" with the green circle, and the word "Available" is highlighted in bold. It also says "Invisible" underneath.

   Press down on "Invisible" and the word "Invisible" will be in bold with an empty circle next to it

   We can go back by pressing the back arrow in the top left-hand corner

   We can see our profile photo has the empty green circle inside, so people will see this and know that we're not available
