You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to explain how to change your profile photo on the LinkedIn application on iPhone 6.
To begin, the phone needs to be unlocked. This can be done by pressing the lock or home button.
Swipe to enter your passcode or use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the LinkedIn icon, which is this blue one here with the word "in". Tap once to open the app. It'll automatically take us to the home page which is the news feed with posts from different articles and also other people that we're connected with.
We need to tap on the "in" button which is located in the top left-hand corner.
We're now on a new window where we can then tap on our profile.
We'll then have the option to go to our profile photo which has a small camera icon in the bottom left-hand corner.
Press on there and we can then view the photo, take a photo, or choose from the library.
For instance, we'll tap on "View Photo" first. This will display the current profile picture. Press "Done".
Tap on the picture again and then we'll go to "Take a Photo". As we see, we'll need to either grant or deny LinkedIn access to our camera. We'll press "OK".
Now that the camera application has opened, we can now press on the icon in the top-right hand corner to switch between the rear and front-facing camera.
Once we're happy with the positioning, snap the photo by pressing the big circular icon at the bottom of the screen.
We can now zoom in and out by pinching either inwards or outwards until we're happy with the results. We're going to choose "Use Photo".
We can now see that it's loaded and our new profile picture is being displayed.
We'll now press the photo again and choose "Choose from Library".
The phone's library of photos will now be displayed and we can choose the one we'd like to use. Once we've found the picture we like, press on "Choose" at the bottom.
Press the home button and we'll edit our settings if things have not worked as they should have. Press on the Settings icon.
We need to scroll down until we find "LinkedIn".
We'll see "Photos" and "Camera", and the toggles on the right-hand side for these should be green. If they are white, tap on them to turn them green to give LinkedIn access to these features of the phone.
This is a VisiHow video and I've just shown you how you can view and edit your profile picture on the LinkedIn application on iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, please add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
