Change Lens on Canon T4i
Edited by Djinu, VisiHow, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show how to change the lens on the Canon 650D (or T4i, as the camera is known in the U.S.).
Press the lens-release button located to the right of the lens as you are looking at the front of the camera.
Then, rotate the lens counterclockwise.
Take off the cover of the other lens that you'll be using.
Now, close the lens that we just removed with the cover. It's important not to touch any of the inner parts of the camera and to minimize the time that you have the camera open, since you don't want to get dust inside.
Locate a red mark and a white mark on the camera at the top of the lens mount that shows the starting and ending positions.
Locate the same marks on the outside of the lens. These should correspond with the ones on the camera.
Line the white mark of the lens up with the red mark on the lens mount.
Now, turn the lens clockwise until you hear a clicking sound. Then, it will be locked.
That was how to install or change a lens on the Canon 650D (or the T4i, as the camera is known in the U.S). If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thanks for watching VisiHow!
